This policy explains how OmniDict (the "App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. Please read carefully before use; by using the App you have understood and agreed to this policy.

We do not collect: contacts, photo library (except images you attach to feedback or capture for OCR), precise location, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no ads and no tracking SDKs.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or advertising profiles.
3.1 When your query misses the built-in lexicon, the system sends the query word (or sentence) to our onshore (China) LLM cloud provider for real-time generation; the generated result (definitions, examples) is curated and cached on our server for reuse by identical queries, improving speed and reducing compute.
3.2 Content sent to the model provider is limited to the query text itself — no account information, device ID, or other identifiers are attached.
3.3 Cached generations are platform data assets and may be published to all users with the lexicon; they contain no identity-linked information.
3.4 You can avoid triggering AI generation: queries hit in the built-in lexicon never call the external model.
4.1 Storage location: your data is stored on servers within the People's Republic of China. If you use the App from Vietnam or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and stored in China, and we apply security measures such as TLS encryption in transit in accordance with applicable law.
4.2 Retention: account and learning data are retained while the account exists; upon deletion, see Section 7. Feedback attachments are retained until the issue is resolved (up to 12 months). Analytics are retained long-term in aggregate form (without directly identifying fields).
4.3 Security: passwords are stored irreversibly hashed; tokens are device-bound; all traffic is TLS-encrypted; server access follows least privilege.
Except as follows, we do not share your personal information with any third party:

7.1 You may self-delete via "Me → Account → Delete Account" with a two-step confirmation, effective immediately, no customer service contact required.

7.3 The same email may re-register as a brand-new account; prior learning data is not restored.
8.1 The App is a language learning tool and may be used by minors. If you are under 14 (or the legal age in your jurisdiction), please use the App under parental/guardian supervision and have a guardian register the account on your behalf.
8.2 We do not knowingly collect additional information from minors; if discovered, we will delete it immediately.
9.1 This policy may be updated as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the App or on the store page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance; where the purposes or scope of processing exceed the original consent, we will obtain your consent again.
